about many hats design
Many Hats Design is the work name of Chicago-based graphic designer Kevin McGroarty. I've been a designer for over 20 years and have worked with clients as large as Fortune 500 companies and as small as individuals just starting their business. I approach each project as a unique opportunity to help clients find their creative voice visually while relying upon my years of experience as valuable guideposts as what works and does not.
My years of experience has given me a broad and deep design and production knowledge that allows me to help arts organizations and small businesses communicate with energy, focus, and creativity. From branding and communications to data design, websites, and kinetic displays, I've done it all. I look forward to doing it for you.
what is with the name?
Like most small businesses and arts organizations, I...well....wear many hats. I am a graphic designer, but also an illustrator, photographer, educator, dad, mentor, production artist, writer, strategist, performer, and magician. Having many roles brings insight. I'm always learning.
